the process of weekly deadlines has been really helpful in getting me to commit to going with the flow and push through the initial idea phase to complete more tracks. when i was making music 10ish years ago, i would work on 1 track for 3-4 weeks while spending so much time fine tuning things that nobody probably ever noticed. now i'm getting ideas done in 1-2 days with a lot more freedom to explore and experiment because the output is so much higher.

i've been enjoying playing around with more percussive elements and wanted to try something that was a bit moodier this week compared to the last 2 weeks.

thanks for listening smile

That's what's awesome about Weekly Beats! smile

I love everything about this track. The ghostly piano during the buildup, the bass slide in the drop, the OG dubstep warble to it. Reminds me of Burial but this is just so much classier. It would be awesome if it was like 10 minutes long and you kept just building it up and going with where you took it! give us more!!

v cool! could def be longer! I liked the drums and the mood.

Love the glitchy persussion, and agree it finished too early :-)
