Week 22 : Tired aspirations

By LOHTANGCLAN on June 5, 2022 8:48 pm

This began as a couple of chord progressions, then slowly fell into a crap-advert/promotional video style that amused me (imagine some stock footage of peaceful clouds and scenic vistas fading in and out!). I mostly used the arps in Ableton & a bunch of stock instruments (also used Fors Fm's Pluck, somewhere in the mix) & a smidge of Bitspeek. This version is a slightly slower (and pitched down) version with some random micro delay effects here and there.

This is the kind of quality crap-advert/promotional video style music I come here for!  It's like what an ad agency would get if they commissioned Boards of Canada to provide the BGM behind those voiceovers itemizing hideous side effects amidst imagery of vigorous, happy elderly couples hiking mountains and smiling into the sunny breeze

Yes!! this is exactly it hahaha. I might try add some stock footage video + a dubious voiceover big_smile
