Composed on the Teenage Engineering OPXY & processed a bit in Ableton with mostly stock plugins. Recorded it a bit hot, I think I push the drive and saturation a little too hard on the XY!
Speaking of hot, it's only the 2nd week of 2026 and the world seems like it's on fire again... sigh.

Thanks everyone for commenting on & listening to my music last week. I didn't have much time to go through everyone's tunes but will have some time this coming week!

Ooh this is nice. I like the distortion created by recording too hot, adds a really nice texture. Can't wait to see where you go next!

You channeled some of that anxiety about the bleakness of the world in this one. Simmering, and quite effective. Would have liked to hear it break open at some point, but maybe that's another week.

Yeah this is something I’ve had to work on for a long time, I get so stuck in loops sometimes! (Most of the time haha)

Hm it's very hot, but that almost lends the sounds a headbopping percussive quality. I headbopped

Wonderful atmosphere; the crackling hot saturation fits with the clock-like synth blips and that magnificent horn

the distortion on this is sublime!

Yes!!!
