A crunchy layered chiptune-ish song, harking back to games such as Lotus Ultimate Challenge and other Amiga classics like Xenon 2(although I first played these on a PC with a bad soundcard. Internal speaker joy!). 95% made on the M8, with just a little compression and a slight layer of Microtonic Bitspeek added for extra squeaky crunch in Ableton.
Probably should have degraded the kick and snare a bit? I dunno.

love the dissonance. snare is awesomely crunchy

I'm 100% stealing the Bitspeek idea, brilliant and very effective. Absolutely love how hard this goes, and that sudden spun-out ending.

Also, Xenon 2, dang.

Hehe thanks codydjango.

Cheers! I think if I/you did some midi-in trigs for the Bitspeek it could be used even better!

aww yea work it!

totally gives me those vibes, so I'd say you nailed it, also reminds me of some less well known n64 titles etc, randomly enough.
