NGC 1976 (Orion Nebula)

By littlebigmosaic on August 25, 2024 7:23 pm

This upload is dedicated to shimmering star babies.

I invite you to close your eyes and blast into the Orion Nebula, a birthplace of stars nestled in the middle "star" of Orion's sword.

NGC 1976 is among the brightest celestial entities in the Milky Way and is the closest region of massive star formation to Earth. The light we see from the nebula today started its journey toward us a casual 1,344 years ago. We see a snapshot of stars being born, exploding into existence. Yet they are now over a millennium old.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for listening!

SPACE VAPOR.

Man, this track announces itself right away, and just keeps getting bigger. Love that bassline, and that filter sweep right before the kick really comes in at :28. The pump it gets is huge. Fun dynamics all the way through. Good track!

This feels like I was just shot into space in a flying car yikes A Delorean mayhaps... Agree it takes off right away and that synth pad that comes in at the end with the sidechain-sorta-feel sounds awesome.  Yay for space inspired tracks smile

This is a really cool track.  I really like the transition effects, and little ear candy bits through out.

loved this journey to the stars! excellent track

Really love the analog vibe of this with a sorta 1980's synth horns groove.  Reminds me of a theme song to a Sci-fi flick of that era like Stargate. It fits your description of the Orion Nebula very well.
