Missed a couple weeks. Whoops! Trying to get back in the groove. I've been wanting to try to sample some dusty old vinyls. Bouncing off of Nick's latin house beat concept, I picked out a fun latin loop from deep in the archives and experimented with adding a bassline and house beat. I always try to make tracks danceable but I also have this side of me that loves soundscapes and experimenting so I can't help but stretching, pitching, and warping. Maybe someday I'll figure out a cohesive way to integrate that into my style... Thanks for listening!

Love the energy of this and all the percussion, especially the castanet-like intro and again toward the end. Has a fusion of Latin and a tinge of Middle Eastern vibe on the outro. Nice mix.

Feels like an atmospheric boogie haha, this really has the best of both worlds - danceable and soundscape as you described. Textures and percussion are killer.
