Quick dungeon ambience sketch. Nowhere near Koji Kondo and crew’s level, but I had fun trying something less chord-driven and more percussion and pattern-focused.

This was maaaaaaybe inspired by replaying Ocarina of Time for the umpteenth time in my life. 😅 Fingers crossed for the rumored remake! heart

Happy Week 22 everybody!

Lovely cavern vibes! We are absolutely on a mission to claim the piece of the MacGuffin to blank the blank!

wow, that transported me. nice work, lcb!

Oooh cavernous chill vibes! heart love that lower pad that comes in like its in slo-mo.   The percussion sounds great too.  Well done!

can you believe i've never played ocarina of time?

this is giving me Turok vibes however

nice job!

This is some great cave dungeon. I can feel the drips from the cieling and the worry I'm gonna get murdered. Lovely.

Wow, gorgeous. Even reminds me a bit of Goldeneye 007 honestly…

It really conveys a sense of space.  Just the right amount of reverb and echo.  It feels like we're in the main chamber of a sprawling cavern.

an ocarina of time remake sounds incredible.

very atmospheric and would fit super well with that first temple where you first encounter the spiders (as far as I remember!).

Very cool vibes, really nailed the slightly creepy N64 soundtrack atmosphere. Especially with those crunchy choir pads. Feels like a super fun cave to explore, I just hope there aren't monsters around the corner.

Excellent, perfect soundscape. Reminds me a lot of Twilight Princess, the only zelda game I played. Great stuff.

I got Goldeneye and Metal Gear solid vibes in the first second. Spot on. Great work.

Cinematic af, great job! heart

Thanks Orange Drink! Similarly, I've never played Turok, but I'll have to give it a shot one day!

Thanks so much Monstret! I've got very fond memories of that temple you're describing - it's one of the coolest parts of the game!

Okay, just to be safe, I asked if there were any monsters around the corner, and they said no, so I think you're good to go. 🙃 Thanks for listening Dustsucker!
