sinking feeling

A quick follow-up to an old SoundCloud upload from 2016. Nothing too special, but I've been itching to write something a bit more melancholic lately. Anyway, hope it turned out okay.

I love this big reverb in this track. It is beautiful melancholic mood you are creating.

I'm sorry but even your melancholic moods have a way of making me feel peaceful and content haha. That massive reverb does sound very "icy", which does lend itself well to a darker overall feeling. The violins also sound very morose.

It sounds wonderful!  Would you mind sharing the original? (no pressure, just curious)

Oh wow you're right!  This is really soothing.

it's so beautiful, like a lovely night sky over a cliff overlooking a town
melancholy may be the theme, but it feels more sweet than bittersweet

Super dreamy reverb trails on that beautiful piano.  Giving me some new_jrpg intro cutscene feels smile The strings complete that thought even more.  Well done.

Thanks everybody! The reverb was a bigger focus than usual in this track, so I'm glad to hear it seemed to work.

Once I find a place to reupload it, I'd be happy to. Thanks for listening!

the reverb is awesome how it swells and decays.

nice long fade out on the end
