querig's fog

Through with finals and finally, officially back in action.  Looking forward to catching up on everyone's music!

Today's treating us to a foggy morning here in the bay, so one's based on (and named for) Kaguo Ishiguro's The Buried Giant.  I'd love to gush about how incredible (and depressing) a read it is, but for some reason I just...

..."haven't the foggiest" what I was going to say about it? smile

Ah haha. Up-beat and a favorite of seals everywhere.

gorgeous gorgeous symphonic work.  UGH I wish I could do this.  The trumpet sounds like a the horn cutting through the fog.  Love it.  I can hear the ocean churning....

This is wonderful, maybe a little quiet, but quite stunning in the composition, playing the piano and harp just so, while the strings and horn tell of a fantastical story.

Very well done. Beautiful.

So lovely heart strings and piano are just too good a combination. Seriously loving this, and looking forward to your next couple of pieces!
