new june

By levelcapybara on June 7, 2020 9:43 pm

This June comes in the wake of countless heartaches and continual turmoil. Both carried over when the calendar page turned, and they likely will for a long time to come. The promise of a new month solves nothing by itself. Still, I can't help hoping that June can be even a little restorative for those in need of solace.

This track comes from another one I wrote a few summers ago, back when allergy season made a case for staying inside even while the sun said otherwise. Looking back, I took a lot for granted that I wouldn't these days.

Hope everyone's doing okay.

I feel you man! I hope things get better soon... your track sounds really hopeful to me. Nice work! smile

Beautiful. Reminds me of the Chrono Trigger OST wink

this one is very nice. I wish you only the best for the future.

Lovely atmosphere, this feels very calm in a kind of determined way, if that makes any sense haha. Really nice heart

It'll be a while for it all to get better, but this song at least is here for the betterment of us all.

Peaceful music like this is especially needed in times of turmoil. Really helps to clear my head. As a writer, I especially admire how you're able to write peaceful tunes without  resorting to what I sometimes do which is pick a pretty chord progression, pick a synth pad patch, and slather it in reverb. haha. Your stuff always sounds mindful and carefully written with a vision. Keep doing you, its awesome music.

Neat to hear. smile Yasunori Mitsuda's in a whole other league, but hearing that still makes me feel pretty happy. Chrono Trigger's always a good time in my book.

Totally makes sense. smile I was hoping I'd hit that mark, so I'm glad to know I wound up somewhere in the ballpark! Thanks for the kind feedback.

I hear you on the time it'll take. A turning point can't come soon enough, but hopefully it can come sooner rather than later.
