ice stream

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
snowcaps melt, salmon
scale the mountainsides, summits
teeming with fresh fish
**
a frivolous wish,
that fish could climb mountainsides
and summit snowcaps
**
but at the summit,
I cast my line, and something
tugs beneath the snow
This one's a reimagining of the "ice dream" track I submitted earlier in the year - less sugar rush-induced and more inspired by the prospect of sitting by a stream if we get enough rain:
Six more weeks 'til the end now. Keep up the great work everybody!
Super chill and relaxing. Nice work!
'Six more weeks 'til the end now. Keep up the great work everybody!' that is crazy how short a year feels... Beautiful textures here, love the "water" sample right at the start.
The synths mesh very well with the subtle water sample. Nice and relaxing. I needed that today! smile
Much more of a snowy song, though it also kind of feels springy, and somehow creamy. Definitely not as heated as the previous version.
This is beautiful. Super chill, and great choice of sounds.
its what id imagine an ice stream being, pure.
Thanks! The water sample is baked into one of the pads I used. It's actually in the other version of the track too, though it's harder to hear in that one.
I've been feeling a little more mellow lately, so that might've factored into it. Thanks for listening!
