wow this is good and has its own unique sound, reminds me if nin and mbv did a world music collaboration, kind of
Haha damn, I love that part at 1:16, it hits the perfect combination of incorporating the elements from before while also getting a nice nasty groove in there with that really deep bass. Definitely gave me the stank face, the absolute highest form of compliment. Oooo it ever gets a vocal melody to it a little later. The drums sound killer here too, what kind of samples did you use for it? It has an excellent crunch and snap to it. I'm super vibing to this.
Side note, You should mirror and color invert your logo this year and make the eye red, lol. evilcapybara!
This sounds like a ghibli track, reminding me of Laputa (Castle in the sky is the English name - Laputa is such a non-foreign market friendly name) or Nausicaa. i think it's that metal drum sound that creates this magical atmosphere. Really cool journey of a track.

+1 it's like if NIN did the Golden Sun soundtrack. What a sick tune!
Love the bending Reznoresque guitars that totally feed into that awesome synth line. Also agree with kedbreak the metal drum sound hooked me quick. It gave me nostalgic feels like I was watching a new Goonies movie but them all growns up. Excellent work!
Love the opening with the metal drum sequence, and the stereo field on the guitar or whatever that is is really neat! love the layers to this. damn. ung. the synth voice after 2 minutes sounds like it could be a vocal line. oooh epic conclusion.
Nice, I love the lead that comes in around two minutes, it does sound voice like. Has nice droning parts that make it float along. I can picture this moonscape well!
this song makes me feel scared and brave at the same time

STRANGELY ACCURATE
boy, you were amazing in 2022, but you've somehow leveled up even more
Love the imagery of the words you included. A superbloom on the moon full of beauty and maybe some danger as well. The washed out/reverbed snare is a sneaky MVP for me on this one. Super cool tension and resolution in the notes by the higher droning synth. As of this song I am officially a card-carrying member of #TeamBells.

Guess I'll have to check both out more! I like what I've heard from them. And thank you!

Thanks! The drums were a kit that came with CinePerc (VST by CineSamples) - except for the kick, which I grabbed from a stock EDM kit in Logic. I put the snare through a distortion pedal and gave it a heftier amount of reverb. There's also a bitcrushed white noise scratching pad in there somewhere.
Great song! Love the part at 2:40 where it all just comes together!
Thank you!

Thank you! I'm having a lot of fun playing around with heavier percussion this year. Glad to hear it's been working okay so far!

Nice poem!
Here's one more:

This made my day when I read it. I really want to push past my comfort zone this year. Hopefully I can do some serious leveling up by the end of the year!
Wow this is a great listen, loved it! Favorited
Wow! Much appreciated. Thanks so much!
Charming yet menacing! #eatenbyflowersonlevel1

Beautiful gif! Thanks for sharing, and for listening.
Thank you!
Awesome, love this one. Very intense/sci-fi-y. Definitely works with the theme.

Really cool texture. A bit Japanese without going towards cliche. Some of the sound design reminds me of Floex's work on Machinarium and similar games. Love the 'Amiga-ish' samples aka vocaloid towards the end. It's video games all grown up.
