Been a while since I've checked in. Week 15 seems as good a time as any.

It's been fun trying to tell a story this year, silly as it is. To tell the truth, I didn't start out the year with a plan for one - it's been coming together bit by bit as the weeks go by. But I'm having fun learning how to put a larger-scale work together, as well as tying together loose ends as I go. And each week, I can see a bit further into the future: there are a few story beats I'm excited to hit over the next WB quarter. If I can make it to the end of this year, I hope I can tie everything together in a satisfying way.

Either way, I'm grateful to have made it this far. And I'm doubly grateful to all of you for your ears, your feedback, and your encouragement each week.

Happy Week 15 everybody! heart

Woot, haiku! Super chill track this week. The vocaloid gives it a smidge of a vaporwave vibe which is neat. I found this quote from the narrative to be pretty funny: "We're back on the road. Figure of speech, of course. No roads on the ocean."
I look forward to the upcoming story beats, and if you ever feel like the story is running its course (I mean, a whole year is quite the challenge) remember that plenty of JRPG's have only 2 or 3 discs wink
Also, don't forget to incorporate some of that post-rock/heavier vibes you were going for earlier this year for whenever the story calls for it.
Happy week 15!

damn, that one really sent me. thank you for sharing this music with us

This was a beautiful and relaxing piece of music. I had a good relaxation. Thanks

I don't know why, but I picture Moon Dude as Moon Baboon from the game It Takes Two lol, can't remember if we've talked about this game before. Haiku is lovely. Vocals are so good, like if someone taught KK Slider to sing from his diaphragm.

This is so lush and feels perfectly balanced, pretty wowed by this arrangement/mix. So many subtle touches, really enjoy the interplay between the pluckier/percussive notes and the sustained notes/pads. I also really like how quiet the conga-sounding drums are, just loud enough to "feel" but not a focal point.

I really enjoyed the aetherial nature of this track.

yeah, had to come back to listen again

I absolutely love how spacey and chill this feels. Extra points for those vocals - I'm a huge fan of slowed down vocals like that. Awesome work!!! So mellow and relaxing. Just lovely!

I agree with others about those slowed down vocals, they work really well and compliment the brighter instruments perfectly. Very nice!

Feels like I'm sailing the ocean enjoying the warmth of the sun and wind in my face smile A montage of a journey across the open waters.  Love the haiku as well.  Excellent work!
