This week I learned a new word: normalization. Gone are the days of uploading original music at ant-volume! (With apologies to ants.)
**
Also, this past Friday was Capybara Appreciation Day. Hope y'all've been appreciating capybaras lately. big_smile

Yessssss thank you for normalizing!!! Reminds me of the way the air smells on a cool summer night in the country.

Damn, this is pleasant sounding as fuck.  The harp, piano and that pad are like the best instrumentation out there for ascension to heaven music.  Great work on this, really well put together.

Christ almighty, this is a gorgeous track...The shackles of life just kind of melt away when listening to this. Great work!

Well done, great job on the music too, it's very pleasant. I'm gonna be honest, capybaras haven't really been crossing my mind lately. There aren't many around, you see; it's hard to appreciate something that's not there.

I'm pretty sure a capybara would appreciate an apple tree!

Lmao, lovely to hear this at full volume. Another good one, been really enjoying your output this past while heart

Wow these crystals are absolutely magic. Wonderful sounds here and the progression is incredible. IDK what it is but I'm getting like, emotional scene at a significant place in a visual novel vibes from this in all the best ways.

WOW, this sounds incredible good. Next stept forward is the science of compression and limiting. But that can destroy music, when not beeing careful enough.

Pleasant track, nice work!

really lovely & relaxing!

The mix on this is super lush, just the right amount of verb on that harp to fill out the track in front of the pads. I especially love the chord progression at 1:15, the harmony linking the chords together along with its rhythmic change compared to the previous section really makes it stand out.

Thanks for the insight and the word of caution (and for listening!).

Gotta love how chill capybaras are in the water. If they went bobbing for apples, they'd just sit in the tub and forget about bobbing altogether. big_smile

It's mostly just major seventh chords, while the roots of each chord make up a descending whole tone scale. Glad to hear it worked out okay!

That's okay, one day capybaras will rule the world and there will be many more of them around. And those will be chill times indeed. big_smile
