I love the whistle part, especially combined with the street sound ambience. It feels like a stroll on that warm spring day you describe. And I like all the space in the mix with lots of breathing room ... something I need to work on! Nice work!

Try Taking a Stroll and Whistling™ today!

Putting in some kind of texture as a backdrop (field recordings, a pad or synth sound, high Feedback Delay tails...) makes it much easier to ease up on the density of the main elements. Maybe that could be inspiring to try out.
