Pretty Lights

I get Toy-Story-like imagery from this. It's night, and a childrens tape player with some mangled tape inside starts playing. One after the other, other old and discarded toys join in, making whatever sounds their old batteries allow them to make, and before you know it, they're all jamming. It's kinda nice and warm and weird.
This is all made on the M8 tracker, mostly using synthesis and resampling to get some nice artifacts and textures. Also sorry to the folks with perfect pitch since this sits halfwhere between two keys - the marvels of sampling.

So cute n cosmic sounding! You definitely captured the night vibes with this. The slight off pitch melody gives it a nostalgic feel, like old n dusty cassette tapes smile

Such a lovely tune heart

love the textures!

This feels like a fancy RPG, where the goal is exploring your environment.  Very cool, digging it.
