It's 29pm My eyes are grapes I'm drowning in smoke

Feeling like [title] is why I dislike clubbing during winter season. So I decided to get my fix by making some Techno (Tech house? I dunno), developing it like a live session. In the end I only had to bring everything together into a set structure and add details like transitions. Makes me wanna start performing electronic music like this live. I hope you can get as lost listening as I did jamming!

This came together quite nicely!!! That's awesome, what was your jamming setup? And how much prep was it versus jusg pulling stuff up on the fly?
Anyways, great stuff, this sounds very danceable. I'm bobbing right now! smile

Hey Jegasus, glad you like it!maybe my description was misleading - it's M8 only. But instead of building the song up and adding sections before and after the first loop, I just went and built individual islands in the tracks and used live mode to jump between them independently. When I had the first Hi hat Pattern, for example, I knew that I wanted an option to gradually open up the hats, so I built a new island on the Hats Track that had more open Hihats.
And after a while, I had a rhythm of how I would evolve the track using live mode. So I just had to copy and paste a bunch to make an arrangement that reflected that and spend a little time refining transitions.

Man this song title is a perfect tom waits style piano ballad I might steal later big_smile

Cool track tho, nice bassline. Great drum sound, even for the phone speaker. Funny sounds like mouse clicks around 1-2min don’t tell me you sampled your mouse

Went really hard around 4min. Nice work! Impressive on the m8!

If store bought techno is giving your clock 30 extra hours, home grown is a fine substitute.

Thanks for the kind words! Please use the title. wink
The mouse sound is a synthesized percussion patch. But the clave is a pen cap!
