I don't know what the drone equivalent of a noodle is, or even if that is the correct term here, but allow me to present - The Droodle.

My apologies for being pretty terrible at replies and comments the past few weeks, life did that thing.  You know the feeling where gaps of time are missing so you assume you obviously must be an alien abductee victim only to realise you're just an adult, that work/life balance is a myth and time is mercurial?

Additional note to self - spend less time looking for audio samples of séances gone wrong.

Made in Ableton

definitely feel you on the time loss. my calendar will ding for something and I'll be like... hm, something is very wrong. _yesterday_ was monday, so today can't be thursday.

but append that note--spend less time looking for audio samples of seances gone wrong _alone_. we need a google drive for these, hahahaha.

you've really nailed the pacing and tone here. I can't find anything to latch to and ground myself. it's just spooky town. good stuff

I'm glad I'm not the only one who looses time to things like that... like... "come on... there has to be a YouTube video or like audio recording of someone who's super unimpressed with a dollar store psychic SOMEWHERE on the internet... right!?!...", then four hours later, you still don't have the sample, but you know more than you ever thought you would about turn of the century Prussian social gatherings or whatever...

I really like track though... great texture, it has a good balance between interestingly synthetic sounds, with an organic pulsing and resonance that's just entrancing.

OMG THE DROODLE!!! Hahahahahaha....
This is very cool! More ambient-sounding drone-y tracks typically aren't my thing, but I'm happy to come across them here in WB.
Also, I hear you about that time vortex. Ooff... I often look at the week and ask myself "where did all my free time go???". Hahahahaha...

Yais the Droodle!  I would have to agree that IS thee correct term tongue   Consider me a fan of your droodles.  Love the growly sorta brassy parts to this.  Giving me more visions of exploring dark corridors that I know will end up with me restarting from the previous checkpoint smile

I waste so much time searching for samples that now I tend to browse/favourite presets instead and make my own samples lol... or I just force myself to use a me pack from a trusted source.

Anyway, this was fantastic. It is so difficult to make drone-based music dynamic and engaging and this accomplishes that in excellence. Very creepy seance feel, loved it.

Thank you, always happy to deliver the spook.  A shared WB sample drive is an amazing idea btw!!!

Hahaha, I'm glad to hear I am not alone in that, and thank you smile

When the noodle king approves your concept for the droodle it's a good day.  Not going to lie, a concept album where each song finished on the players death is rather appealing to me.

Oh wow, thank you - trying to make the drones dynamic is a good part of my goal.  The sample hunt seems real
