Return of the English Lady

In the spirit of finished is better than perfect may I present: the Return of the English Lady.

In week 3 I submitted a track which used a sample from the Numbers Station dubbed "The English Lady" and this weeks I thought I'd remake it by building this weeks around the samples I used at the beginning of the year, largely untouched.  The initial idea was to build instruments using only samples of CB and HAM radio noises, which for the most part this track is with the exception of the wibbly, wobbly drone - that was done in MLANDA2 where mangled a rather lovely Snakes of Russia instrument.  Time, time, it's always time.  OK, time and Dark Souls 3.

Kindled in Ableton by the ashen one.
(fucking nerd)

Wow. A drone masterpiece. I can hear the Cryo Chamber influence here - I love that label too - though rather I think influence is the wrong word. You've clearly listened to Cryo Chamber artists, learned from what you absorbed and are wielding that knowledge with expert skill here. Again, it feels like a complete moment and mood - expertly crafted executed. Creepy as all hell.

Eerie, atmospheric.

LOVE that radio static sound and how it balances with almost feedback, what sounds like creepy wind blowing,  and excerpts of radio frequencies. It teeters around in an unsettling way.
Gives me post apocalyptic vibes.

Really dig this. Great work!

Creepy, textured, startling. Love how the number station samples weave in and out. There was a sound that rippled through at 1;12 that put my spine on edge. So good. The entire piece is like a river of sound - occasionally something rises up out of the water, only to sink back down again. Fantastic composition.
