This week was largely trying to learn how to make my own drones in Vital and working with an vocal track.
The vocal track is a recording of the numbers station known as The English Lady.
Also included in this track is a Dronny Darko sample - Transmissions Minus used under Royalty Free Use.

Excellent track.
I think one of the achievements of a good dark ambient track is to exist in that level of awareness where it fits into our subconscious that we just assume it's part of whatever we're doing.
That is to say, create unnerving suffocation without the listener realising what is happening.
You've achieved this because I felt uncomfortable, and when the feeling passed, it took me time to realise the track had finished and I was sitting in the quiet, typing this out. And also wishing there was more to listen.
It's been really awesome hearing the progress you've made each week and I'm looking forward to next weeks track.
