Don't do What Donny Don't Does

Well, sometimes it just doesn't work out.

Arpeggiate a drone, why not? the rhythmic bass noise was interesting so I went from there but wasn't able to stick the landing.  Was going to do some messed up vocals of some messed up preachers again but it felt gimmicky even as I was looking for one to use.  So, finished is better than perfect...or good I suppose.  Oh well, some weeks inexperience shows more than others.  On to next weeks track - 26, bit of a milestone.

Made in Ableton

Arpeggiating a drone is a neat idea! I think the filter sweep you had on it (or however you reduced its intensity) is what it made it work particularly well. The ring mod that came in at 2.50 or so was a real “damn!” moment - nice change in feel for a drone track. Good experiment and a good track!

This one was really great! The arpeggio was a nice choice, really pulls you into the tones.

Sorry to reply so late, I've been very sick this week

Thank you.  I want to trying guitar drones one day, I've got an Ibanez but none of the peddles so I thought I'd try and fake it in a DAW.  Fun weird noises

thanks man, that's good to hear

This takes me back a bit to the score from Heat.  A bit of Eno's Force Marker mixed with Goldenthal's guitars.  At least it unlocked that memory for me hah.  I love the pulsing pace of this and how it wavers with all the bit crushing goodness towards the end.
