TEKLAB-Untruth

For the next few weeks (months?!) due to time constraints I'll be mostly working with Ableton Move. This track desperately screams out for vocals but alas I lack the talent, or proper space to record Vox at the time.  Hope you enjoy big_smile

I used the move a bit for my track this week too! I think you can make it work for an exclusive tool with some elbow grease. Great sketchpad, and you made it sound pretty nice on it's own. Good job!

The capture feature is so powerful for me! I think out of all the stuff i own the Move will forever have a spot. Sometimes i wish it had more tracks but at some point you just have to use the Push tongue

This feels like a clash of two songs that didn't need to be together.
Individually they're really nice, a solid beat that feels hype, and a relaxing piece with fluffy leads.
Perhaps that is the point though.

To me this track felt like a “question and answer”. The lead sound would pose the question and the response was the bass and synth line resolving after 8 bars, only to be asked again. Perhaps the response was not please, hence the two song disconnect? 🤔

The bass feels like it fits really well with both, and it's hard to see the call/response if they're both playing at the same time.
To me it feels more like the anxious drums don't mesh with the easygoing non-bass synth.
