Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

did you do sidechain compression in the m8 or afterwards in ableton? not sure I know what I'm saying but I'm talking about that thing where the bass drum reduces the volume of all the other stuff.

That was done in Ableton Live. A look behind the mirror, Most of the sounds coming out of the M8 are raw. the effects and further sound shaping happens in Live. It will be this way until im more at home using more advanced within the m8 itself.
