Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Thanks! For me speeding up things is mostly about using existing presets as much as possible and loops for percussion stuff.
I had the luxury of having the filter ping sound already programmed in the song file, along with the first chords/bass riff so it was mostly just adding a simple drum track, writing a melody down and refining it a few times as the idea progresses and adding a bit of sparkly fx here and there
Hey, this is great! I especially love the pitch-bent lead that starts around 0:40 and the soaring pads throughout. It has an upbeat, forward movement throughout that makes me think of a hopeful drive at night. Drums are nicely mixed and keep things moving without distracting from the synth work. The walking bassline anchors the forward motion. Nice use of foley to add texture too. Well done!
