Found some old music memos from my iCloud storage. I thought that this guitar pattern was nice in all its lofi feel/sloppy playing and tried to construct a melody around it with the M8 synths.
The title hits home this week. And the point around ~1:11 where the synths swell into life is glorious. It feels like nodding to someone strumming guitar beside a campfire, then suddenly the whole world swirls and you're in the middle of Hyper Light Drifter.

Remarkable synth work & delightful guitar playing -- love the left-hand position-change string rub sound filtered & delayed as a rhythmic punctuation. Sublime.

Wow, this is really gorgeous. The synths especially resonant with me because they remind me so much of Hyper Light Drifter, especially the moments where the soundtrack peaks during incredibly powerful moments. But yeah, the arrangement on this song is beautiful. That guitar establishes the mood so well but eventually it falls off to let the rest of the arrangement shine and its such a powerful moment when it does.

That was really beautiful. The contrast of the earthy guitar against the airy synths was a real treat. Also that fade out at the end was nice. Good job!

This is beautiful, the synths work so well against the simple sounds of the guitar. Especially love the little arpeggio flares
