Sunrise After Rain

By Kooda on February 1, 2026 4:28 pm

Didn’t feel very inspired for this week, so it’s a simple thing.

I still had fun doing a little bit of sound design, all synths were made this week except for the sitar and drums. The whole track started after I made the pad sounds. ^^

I hear a sitar and I am immediately enraptured. They use it really heavily in Spiritfarer and I'm very partial to the OST for that reason. I really like the little bit crushed sparkly notes you sprinkled in. So very fun and the sound design is great.

Even if you weren't inspired making it, I feel inspired listening to it!

This is so beautiful and inspiring. I love that painting, too - was that also you?

Very nice. Simple is good sometimes when done right. Feels like I could float away.

I wanted some Spiritfarer vibes so I’m glad you got that! I love the OST as well. smile

Thank you, that’s very kind! Yes the painting is from me too, I’m trying to do some watercolor alongside the track each week.

Thanks you, it was meant to be light and a little dreamy ^^

Beautiful, it doesn't need much more complexity.
