A hard week again, I guess that’s just the norm. I was sick, but I sat a tiny bit everyday to whip up something for WeeklyBeats.
Not much happening in this one, but I had a lot of fun with sound design. The entire track started when playing with delays, trying to make something relaxing to contrast last week.

I really like it a lot and I came here to say that before I read that you struggled this week. I would never have guessed because the track is solid. I like the slow pace and especially the sounds, which together create a nice atmosphere; very relaxing indeed. Especially the sound with the slow attack is an attention grabber, but the track is full of sounds that I like. The good use of delays adds a lot to the track. I hope you feel better now!

I really enjoyed this. It's such a good blend of ambient and unstructured with these small emotional little flourishes everywhere giving it structure and a cohesive whole that gradually builds across the whole song. I don't know if you are familiar with the game FTL, but this reminds me a lot of the soundtrack from that (just not 8-bit).
I also really like the artwork you shared. I'm not sure what it is (lol), but I found it really interesting and evocative. Be well, and thanks for sharing!
