Abandon

This week really didn’t go well. I had started a thing early on monday, but I struggled with it and it didn’t want to go anywhere… I was also overwhelmed and extremely tired, struggling to even eat and take care of myself…

The track I’m uploading just poofed into existence in just a couple of hours, after I decided to trash the earlier one.

It’s a sort of vent art I guess… not exactly sure what it is or if I like it, but it felt good to make.

Great opening! This track has so many interesting ideas in it. It has a bit the quality of a wanderer (something someone introduced me to last week). It changes throughout, but keeps you engaged. The atmosphere has a kind of friendly layer but with a lot of ominous stuff layered on top, making me feel uneasy at times. It's like carefully opening a door to a room you're unsure about, checking out the place, first thinking it is okay to get in, but then, after getting in, immediately encountering something that makes you go "oh shit". It ends on a somewhat comforting note (I am not great at verbalizing these things). I hope this week you feel better!

It's alright, it has room.

I have fought the weekly beat cycle you detailed here many a time. Sometimes that thing you get out at the very end that you aren't a fan of is so cool when you come back and listen to it a day or two later. I find the space helps me get out of my head about how I feel about making the track and lets me get into how I feel about listening to the track.

I enjoy this track for what it is worth. Great energy all throughout.
