The full DX

All reface dx. Recorded with Cubasis on the iPad.

Nice and relaxing. Could do with some stuff in the lower registers, maybe even some in the higher.

All true. There is very few elements here that i am using and re-using. Appreciate the feedback!

really enjoying the space here - i'm looking out the window at cornfield full of snow & a flock of geese foraging for food & some dried up grasses with their seed heads blowing in the breeze - it's a lovely soundtrack to my view

Very charming indeed.

Very soothing track and reminded me a bit of Vangelis original albums, nice job!

Very lovely! Reminds me of some of the more sombre Harmonia and Cluster/Eno work from the late 70s.

I love the chord progression, I think a good direction to take it to: would be to change the chord at some point and create some more sections to contrast against it, especially since you have a good ear (or technique) for chords

are you playing just by ear or using a bit of theory? because it sounds like you're using modal interchange or borrowed chords or something within that chord sequence, sounds rad!

Thank you for the kind words and feedback. Unless I made some mistake the overal track is rather simplistic. Just a mode off c major/a minor. Chords are inverted and any common notes are held through. I am not a proficient keyboardist but the melody was improvised on top. At times I put effort into interesting modulations but in this case i’d call it a happy accident. Glad it works though smile

Not just great synth sounds, but a great composition as well! Simple and very beautiful

Stunning, listening to this in the dark with headphones on, could listen to this all night!
