nanofloop

I just don't think nanoloop is my thing. This is not the first time I've tried. It's just so difficult to build the kind of development I want to hear in my songs. I think it's just not for me.

Well anyway, keeping up with my Weekly Retrograde project, this is the sister song to week 17's "Crystal Bleed Mambo", which can be heard here: http://weeklybeats.com/#/kineticturtle/music/crystal-bleed-mambo
Both are nanoloop tunes. I tried with this one to make a wider variety of percussive sounds and get some grungier noises. I was vaguely successful I suppose. Then I layered this one over an old old old track that I'm fairly certain is my own, but I found it on a backup harddrive and I don't actually remember making it, it just sounds like the kind of thing I would have made back then.

i like it! I've used nanoloop some time ago, too. I found it nice and quick on creating some lofi-patterns, but like you said, create a whole developed track is really difficult. But anyway i enjoyed what you made out of it. And nice picture btw!

this is a pretty fun track.
I never really got nanoloop, twas weird for me.
This sort of thing would sound great thru some FX pedals/kaos pad, etc...

nice smile

Sounds pretty cool to me.  It kind of brings back memories of walking into a video arcade back in the day and the sound you'd hear from all the various games mixing together
