For this week I decided to experiment with some tools that I used to use a lot but haven't received much love lately in my productions. This came about because I have been preparing for an upcoming show where I will be releasing a lot of material that I have been sitting on for a long while.
In my old live setups I used to use a lot of pedals, boxes, and effects to live produce my music for the audience. Since switching from hardware to software there has been little need for these physical tools but I want to change that as it brings an element of unknown back into my live workflow that I miss. Even better is the fact that It allows me more organic feeling productions when writing. Included with that mystery I wanted to add some lesser used synthesis that is truly miss-understood in my opinion. FM synthesis makes a strong appearance in this song. everything except the intro chords and the drums were FM made.
enjoy.
