Odysseus

It looks like I got stuck in synthwave from last week. When I was a kid, there was a very cool show called Ulysses 31. It was a sci-fi version of Odysseus. Greek Mythology! Spaceships! Drama! Lightsabers! 80s pew pew synth music! It was the best that a little kid can wish for. This one is inspired by this theme. I struggled with this one and I still feel there lacks some conclusion and I should have maybe added more rhythmic elements but hey that's as far as I'll go in a week.

I can image a shorter cut of this track being used for opening music: images of space adventures, the shadowy specter of some evil mastermind, sci-fi versions of greek mythological beasts. Really like the way the synth lines build up in to a quiet middle section too, it works really nicely.

very heroic!  I enjoy it quite a bit!  Good counter melody at the end too

Niiice! I totally get the Ulysses 31 vibes from this, also makes me think a bit of Les Cités d'Or, which had great synth tracks too. French/Japanese cartoons of yore were the best.

Damn nice. It goes on for a while, maybe it can be used for the opening cinematic of the live action remake.

A new wave anthem!  Makes me want to jump in my land speeder and fight the draarguns on mercury three.  Epic sound! I've never head of this show.  Got to check it out.

I think  what is missing in this track is some sort of resolution. The intro is fine, the buildup works but... it kinda builds up into nothing. That's a thing i need to work on in the future.

It was very cool. When i was a little boy. It might have aged! But the theme was really really nice.
