Neon Green Spaceship

By Kedbreak136 on August 11, 2024 2:09 pm

A much lighter tone this week with a synthwave-ish track full of arps. I started this on Sunday afternoon after being randomly inspired by macho man randy savage. Go figure.

This is the CREAM OF THE CROP. Those arps are so juicy! Love the space that's created halfway thru, and how the chord progressions change. Def takes me on a journey. Awesome job!

These arps come in peace, the synth at the end though, is here for glorious battle.

Funny that this was inspired by Macho Man Randy Savage, but I can totally see it.  This would make GREAT entrance music for a wrestler.  Awesome energy.

holy moly the drum fill opening

I had to air drum and jump up to that big drum fill. Makes me full on do a special dance move, the synthwave arp shimmy. Arps just wiggle just right. Arps all day. Fun stuff. Randy Savage! haha!

"oooooooh yeaaaaaaa" *demonstrative arm posturing* you had me at synthwave-ish track full of arps smile  Love the arps throughout giving it that synthwave feel but also the hopeful chord progression.  Macho in that green outfit in a Guardians of the Galaxy type movie is what i was picturing smile  with guest appearance from the Ultimate Warrior?

Strangely I have also recently been inspired by Mr. Randy Savage, I have a friend who keeps sending me links to old wrestling interviews, Macho Man was truly a master at those.  This track feels like it finishes with reaching "the top of the mountain!"

THE CREAM RISES TO THE TOP! I wonder how Randy did not break his voice at some point during his mid-20s. Thank you for listening. OOOOH YEAAAAH.

Yes indeed, a glorious 80s battle on a commodore amiga!

I was watching a random interview where he said that he was a Space Cowboy and that just triggered a whole random music piece. Funny how things work. Thank you for your nice comment!

To be perfectly honest, this is a drum sample from KJ Sawka, my main source of drum beat. His taste and sound are so wonderful!

ARPS + RANDY SAVAGE - the mix we did not know we needed! But that makes perfect sense! When the aliens come to invade us, I want us to ressuscitate Rany a la Jurassic Park and make him the commander of our space fleet! We might not survive, but we'll die with style!

Oh imagine a version of Guardians of the Galaxy where everyone is in brihgt 80s neon color clothes, with fantastic glasses and cowboy hats. That would be awesome! And Ultimate warrior just running by the screen at random. That would work.

Haha - Randy could not be touched on the mic. It's hypnotizing. He was actually weirdly articulate and made sense in a strange way (unlike say ultimate warrior). Thank you for the comment!

Damn son.  Some serious 80s mojo going on here.  Love the big power drumming going on.  Ridiculous but in a good way.  Haha.  There's a really nice synth tone in that arp break too.  Has an element of air/breath to it.
