Electric Lifeforms

By Kedbreak136 on April 12, 2026 4:08 am

More texture explorations this week, playing with MassiveX, some NI libraries like Arkhis, good old Poizone and Kepler Exo from FL Studio. I added some spice in the form of static electric samples, and here you go. The unruly synth towards the end is Speedbike Escape in Flex - I just love this synth that sounds like a screaming electric mustang horse. If that makes sense. And this time I did check that I did not truncate the end.

I have been super busy with my new work and I have not had enough time to listen to as many tracks I wish I did. I hope this gets better in the coming weeks.

I dig the fuzzy staticky textures and there's a great propulsive energy to it.  Sounds like a fun party at the electric power plant.

Way to wield some powerful sounds! Sorry to hear things are a bit hectic, hopefully you get a chance to your breath soon. heart

So many good synth sounds!  From the arps to that wailing bendy one and the screaming mustang yikes I hope things can calm down a bit soon for you

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

cool! lotsa interesting thematic electric textures, never know where exactly i am in the track cause no classic song structure, nice to be surprised.

The arps and what sounds like an engine revving sets the mood just right, great use of the samples to create texture.  I love how there are no drums on this, you would think they are coming, but I like how you did this.

Solide textures.

Very cool.

Yes, power plants are the best places to have fun! Thank you for listening! smile

I definitely do not see the light at the end of the tunnel. I inflicted that upon myself, starting a company because I was bored. I did success at not being bored anymore. But there's gotta to be a middle ground. Thank you for the kind comment!

Thank you very much! To be honest, I just use presets but I'll take that as a compliment to my preset curation skills. smile

Ah that is good! I think this track lacks a climax, it just meanders blindly in the dark. Thank you for listening!

Yes, I am trying to explore more tracks where the percussive elements are not really drums but synth and other aspects. Thank you!

Merci! smile

I could have listened to the opening texture alone for a while even!  There's this dark electro 80s thing going on here.  Future retro if I'm allowed to use an oxymoron.  smile
