Whoa, this is super ethereal and haunting. Awesome job to both of you, your collab tracks have been really cool to hear this year!

Sounds magical.  This doorway clearly leads somewhere special if not a little mysterious.  Great collab.

Woah super haunting!  Visions of being lost in the woods with the chorus and percussion.  I don't think I've heard your voice in this tone before.  Either way love the mood of this and love these awesome collabs! heart Happy Week 26!

can't believe it's already been a month since the last collab track and that we're halfway through the challenge! much more effective and haunting than me attempting to be haunting this week. eerie and a bit unsettling but great as always. master class number 26

This is quite the vibe.

Love the layered vocals.

Forest
Water
Waiting
For the beginning
For the end
Not anxious
But accepting

Oh I'm all about this with all the sampled voices

The layers just keep building

I love the spooky folk horror aspect of it all.

Could be the outtro music to an indie horror

Dreamy and a little unsettling in all the best ways, and gotta heart the drone, wonderful heart

This one hits deep, it sounds really different, yet it's still you.
The choirs are so much like a 90s synth (in a good way), had to re-read the description to make sure.
Reading the lyrics, I'd assume it would be childlike and innocent, the contrast is nice though!

What a beautiful counterpart to Emily's track. Like the cool summer night mirror image of her sunny daytime song. There's a similar floatiness to her vocals coming from the choir pads in your track, but the bouncy guitar is replaced with watery pulsing guitars/synths. Loving the streched out space of ambient pads.
Beautiful work from both of you!

Woah, the intro before the lyrics come in are AMAZING. I’m not a lyrics guy, so the potential behind this being an ambient track immediately stood out to me. I’d argue the vocal line takes away from everything else going on because the backgrounds are SO COOL!! Your singing / the singing does not fit the timbre of the rest of the track for me.

All this to say, can you send me an instrumental version 🥺 and no shade meant here. It was your creative vision. I absolutely love that you guys do collabs like this. I hope I can find a partner or friend who will make music with me consistently!!

What i wouldn't give for the 2 hours version of this. Your lyrics, and your delivery, feels almost "prophetic". And against the music it very much feels like a doorway, a glimpse, a promise, a hint of something larger or grander beyond it. Like standing on the precipice but not being able to truly grasp what lays beneath your feet. The confusing intersection of hope and despair.

I've had a long day so i'm not sure i'm making sense anymore, but fair to say i really enjoyed this! smile

This is so atmospheric, ohmygod.  When those vocals came in, I got chills. Yeah, like others have said, I could happily listen to a much longer version of this.
