Weeklybeats is a 52 week long music project in which artists compose and publicly release 1 song a week for the entire year.
Starting January 1st 2024 GMT each participant will have one week to upload one finished composition. Any style of music or selection of instruments are welcomed and encouraged.

Got to hang out with my semi-half-sister / ex-wife's wife / sibling in spirit. 
She provided all the guitar (semi-hollow body Samick "Greg Bennett", I think?) We collab'd on the arrangement, I mixed and mastered. I don't usually write rock stuff, but I'm really happy with how this one turned out!

This starts like Cake's fantastic cover of "I Will Survive". I almost expected to hear John McCrea half-sing / half-speak some self-deprecating stuff at some point here.

Really excellent production and nice crisp guitar playing nailed it, cool song! Sounded like it would be more simple at first but there ended up being a lot going on along the one riff theme.
