Seems like Sunday evening is becoming the point at which I give up on what I was working on and decide to do something experimental instead! This time I wanted to focus on some vaguely interesting sounding vocals, so I pulled some acoustic guitar loops from Splice and just wrote vocals on top of them. Tried to go with that singer/songwriter feel, but this kind of music is way out of my comfort zone so it's a bit dry. Love how Miku (sweet ver.) sounds here though!
The lyrics are basically just pseudo-emotional bullshit about a broken relationship. Wrapped up in train references because duh.

Really nice job with the vocals, beautiful sound. I like how well they tie together with the guitar's melody. Super relaxing, especially the second half with the Ahhs.
Nice work dude! I really love the arrangement in the second half.
Well that's different. Really nailed the aesthetic and sounds great. How'd you do the guitars, live?
The guitar sounds fantastic. You nailed the singer/songwriter vibe.
Great acoustic track! The vocal mixing sounds good too. What effects do you usually put on the vocals?
This turned out great! The train + miku combo theme is absolutely choice, really enjoying these tunes.
Pretty much a memorable OVA ending credits track right here
Solid work on those vocals. Never realized softer / sparser instrumentation could work so well with a vocaloid-type sound. Great melody too!
I'm not typically into vocaloid stuff but that was great. Great loop selection and great mixing. Definite end credits vibe.
i like the overall weirdness of this song
This is *really* nice stuff. I'd love to hear this more glitched out, but for what you set out to do it's freakin' perfect.
I'd say its a pretty successful singer/song writer attempt. I especially liked the bits where the vocal inflections matched what the guitar played, something an actual guitar player would do since its hard to sing a melody while playing completely different rhythms. Plus an acoustic singer/song writer writer will often write with their guitar parts and vocal lines in tandum, often often resulting in them matching the rhythm and melody or creating a chord tone between the two (Major chord on guitar, hitting the 7th with their voice to make a Major 7). So yeah, good job ^_^
Thanks! Admittedly a part of that was laziness in coming up with a good rhythm, but it felt right!

Thanks! They're loops from Splice I stumbled across.

Thanks! Nothing notable on the vocals, bit of EQ on the mids, reverb to taste, and of course hit that Soundgoodizer Preset A!

Thanks for listening everyone! Really appreciate your comments.
Glad I caught this track on songs to click on. A nice laid back change to the 'norm'. Hehe.
