Enkoji Six

By Judgement Act on January 14, 2024 12:11 pm

i recorded some space air traffic controller type dialogue for this but decided it didn't work that well so maybe ill use it in a future track

Nestled within the Ionic particle-rich Stryer Nebula, Enkoji Six is a remarkably populous world given its distance to the Central Colonies. What began as a simple research outpost focusing on the nebula quickly grew into a regional hub as dozens of major corporations set up their own enclave cities on the surface during the initial stages of the Stryer Gas Rush, keen to exploit the riches of the nebula for their own purposes. Despite the large population, Enkoji Six's surface remains completely toxic, with terraforming equipment struggling to function in the Ion-rich atmosphere. While some of the richer corporations erected bio-domes and carefully manage their atmosphere for human and plant life, most workers living on the planet do so in vast underground structures and rarely see the beauty of the sky above them.

Synthwave goodness. Fantastic mood here, the wide brassy background synths are especially dreamy here. The lead contrasts with them wonderfully. This is an entirely complete track, I'm impressed. Thanks for sharing!

My jaw dropped - like, actually DROPPED - during the intro. Between those spacious swelling pads and the glistening, pitch-bending percussion, everything just blended together so beautifully. Gorgeous work on this one. And I'm digging the sci-fi concept in the track description too! You working on a space concept album?

I love the cool granular(?) synth in the beginning. Really cool melodies in this, nice work.

Wow this is like a movie soundtrack. So spacious and wide. 👏👏👏

Glad you enjoyed it! I am always working on a space concept album tongue
So far I've only released the one, but its a lot of fun to make stuff inspired by a loosely-connected universe, and they are usually peppered throughout the year.

i misclicked the quote button obvious but i love u 2

This is beautiful.

It's a shame you couldn't work in the vocal sample. A filter might've worked, but it would also ruin the tranquility.
Perhaps you should consider making the universe less loosely-connected.

Such a moody vibe, perfect blend between utopic and dystopian.

Absolutely loved that crunchy snare, really great composition!

Awesome tranquil sci-fi vibe on this.  Really fits the description.

That intro instantly grabs your attention, nice beat with the luscious synths

This is a vibe for sure. I really like the choice of drums here.

what a delight, the intro is a triumph. enjoyed the listen, thanks!
