Idles

Wrote this on Friday with 1, maybe 2 takes each on each track. Wanted something grungy with imperfect guitar tones/mixing and low banging tribal style drums to give that coarse sound. I really wanted to put vocals to it but couldn't think of anything that would be value add.

hell yeah dude!  you added quite a bit from when you sent the sample.  definitely hearing some doom metal and late 90s alt metal/numetal vibes in there.  The panned guitar part was really sick,  had to throw some headphones on for that and listen again.  nice work duder

very creative, well done. the panning is sick, guitar work is sick.

Wow great work on this one man.  The intro reminds me of Black Sabbath.  Great guitar work and nice job blending all these tones.

Fuck yeah man, these two break down/bridge parts are sick.  Love that lead that comes in at the end too!

The structure of the song is dope. Keeps me engaged.

The guitar stops are sweet, really helps it open up when the main part comes in. Listened a couple times to get all the panning stuff that's going on, very cool. Great work!

Very very cool, I really like the guitars. Powerful. Very aggressive guitars. The one panned left is really great. Drums are pretty good too.

Damn, love the heavy guitar sound with the separation and panning.  Massive wall of power when they all come together in the last third.

Love it brother very gritty!

Good use of raw guitar tones and some cool riffs too.  The real DI distortion sounding guitar tone reminds me a bit of Shellac.  I've been getting an itching to do a guitar track myself actually!

Love this, those drums sounds are on point.

Thanks dude! Ya, I was surprised the main idea stuck haha. Usually after I show you or whoever I end up changing it 100%.

F ya. I wanted something hectic at the end. Why not flanger/chorus AND phaser?

Thanks man. I finally started mixing them, haha.

Those roaring, rolling drums are right up my alley heart Top notch panning/spacing throughout too, really wide and tasty!

Thank you! It was a challenge to do something that didn't rely on big cymbal sounds.
