I've had this main guitar riff since Dec. 2019 but never knew what to do with it. I had multiple versions of this song created this weekend but this one won out. Hope you enjoy!

haha I debated using it since I knew you had before. Still a great sample. It simulates what Declan was like during the recording process.

Hell yeah man, glad you got the inspiration to finish it.  Hate leaving good ideas on the table.  That riff is cool as hell, it flows so well and leads into all the other parts perfectly.  Cool stuff dude!

Always satisfying when you get something down you're happy with!  Lovely main guitar line.

Yeah great atmosphere you've created here.  As usual I really dig your drums.  Nice job on this

love this riff. the drums compliment perfectly. my favorite part is what the song builds to towards the end, great tones and verbs.

You Could Do Anything

Loving the big wide open sound. The song structure stylistically, makes me think of Rush.  Not that it sounds like Rush, but some of the riffs just brought that to mind.  The last third is just pure beauty, emerging from that sweet vocal of a child unable to contain or fully express the enormity of a feeling. Perfectly mirrored in the music as it swells. I had to listen three times, and no damn it, I did not tear up at all. Maybe a bit smile

Thanks dudes. Felt nice to complete it. I did have the "I could have done more" feeling, but that will always be there. Thanks for listening!

Damn! That is a complement, thanks! When I started this song I wanted it to not be very complex, but have tones of feeling and that sample at the end seemed to work just so well. The sample definitely reflects the writing process of this song, haha. Glad you enjoyed!

This riff is so good you could create multiple versions of it and I wouldnt be mad. Like a EITS "Your Hand In Mine." Make 10 versions. I dont care. Ill listen to all of them.

You're not wrong, and all 45 of them are equally awesome because of it. This riff could do that again.

Smoooth as hell, love how that buttery guitar rolls along. Great riff, I love that feeling when you finally get something going for old scraps that have been hanging around. Very cool heart

Aaah, wonderful! The song keeps swelling and rising and it just fills me with a lot of joy big_smile Perfect use of that sample imho, that kid's awesome. Grade A compo my friend heart
