Limbo

Week 5!!!!! Man this was a tough one to make. I’ve been sitting on this beat for half a year and had to force myself to write lyrics for it. I was going for a sound similar to last weeks (a bit flumey, future bass inspired). This one is inspired by Flumes older beats with a slightly wonky septuplet swing (a ratio of 4:3 each bar). Tried a quintuplet swing (3:2) but it was hard to subdivide without getting messy at this tempo.
These lyrics are about a trip through the sand dunes near where I live.
