Pronounced

By Jim Wood on May 14, 2016 10:41 pm

Original text from a song written by my wife in 1989, from the pronunciation section of our dictionary:

Tie high, island, buy sky
soldier, sage, exaggerate
(car, account, bacchanal, back)
kill rake, sikh walk, Iraq
calm more, i'm limb, home
(gnat knife,mnemonic, not done)
live mile, call she'll, faille
Ah, English, Sprechen Sie?
Ah, English, no comprende

Scanning an old dot-matrix printout of these lyrics, the OCR software came up with:

Till     hSalh        i^isaffSsrl        1Hi55S2     tT-1^5 2
sttldier, sage, exaggerate i.tar, account, bacchanal, oacki kill rake, siftfi uialic, I rati

iijjfifjt knife. fpneifiOsilc, not fjoni line ifiilSa coil she'll, faille
firs, English, Sprechen Sie? fih, Erifllish, no comprende

wow, cool!

I like 0:43 min until 0:53min the most. It became a dance smashhit then. Very good music.

This is the sound of a future post-human AI's undervoltage hallucinations. Exquisite.

Nothing special about the vocals -- Unless it's something that requires a particular lyric (like Colby Nolan) it's just whatever is available for mangling.

You have anything about coffee? Dp you like coffee?

Put a smile on my face, made the morning little weirder, which is great. Love those lyrics and what happened to them here!

Strange and wonderful!

Love the glitching out vox compared to the medicated sound of the others and against the laid back groove.  Effective!
