Involuntary Termination

By Jim Wood on November 18, 2018 5:23 pm

You can't fire me, I quit. Vocals: AlterEgo Bones and Marie Ork. I don't know how to play guitar, but I can produce feedback.

As long as you don't quit weekly beats!! D: When both vox are singing at the same time I picture a two-headed alien having a heated argument about whose turn it is to drive. They end up in gridlock and decide to quit their job instead of having to deal with this one more day. Great tones fueling my imagination, thank you big_smile

Would be great to see a video of you making this cool stuff... but until then... my ears loves it

Quit so close to year's end? Not likely.

Watching me would make Andy Warhol's flicks seem exciting by comparison.::)

The opening synth line reminded me a little of Depeche Mode.  But then we traveled to Alpha Centauri.  Awesome stuff.

Oh wow I would never have anticipated the evolution of this. Amazing!

This whole time we're thinking you are chopping up vocals, but what if you have some sort of vocal deformity and talk through an electrolarynx???

Wow, that guitar feedback was the perfect surprise.  Well done.  More please!

The guitar feedback is the icing on the already delicious cake. Wonderful track!

That feedback!! ༼⁰o⁰;༽ -- those voices, fun stuff.

Thanks! The feedback was a complete accident (pulled the wrong file) — but once I heard it, well...

Does this mean I actually have to sing?

Amazing what you can do by just sticking an electric guitar in front of a speaker.

Reading the comments I was waiting for the feedback, and then bam! there it was, sounds great, also like the deep kick.

Sounds both alien and twangy in the beginning, country music aliens?  This is a wild track, especially when that feedback kicks in!!

It took me completely by surprise. What a use for feedback, Sir!!!

The sounds of the worker drones bowing down to the machine overlords. Is that low voice laughing? Sounds like He He He Ha. Playing electric guitar is 25% feedback and 25% attitude and you're at a full on at 110%

Woah that was a trippy ride with first the spacey vox and then the wave of guitar.  It almost sounded like there was a train crossing bell hidden in the feedback.  Far out! smile
