Vox from Grammar Girl Quick and Dirty Tips podcast "Liuisa Zissman's Missing Apostrophe." Me on cello again.

I like the combination of the cello and the glitchy sounds.  It reminds me a little bit of The Books.  Nice job.

Rdomain said the same thing, so it must be true  :-)

Love the concept of pitch-tracking spoken word - great stuff

Mr Wood ive been a frequent observer of your music and it always inspires me with textures, sound design and arrangement.

Keep up the good work dude!

And i second the books statement its most certainly in the same domain

sounds like early 1700 century broken words ... the genres you come up with Jim are revolutionizing  tongue

I agree! Very "the books-like", but that´s in no way a bad thing. This sounds excellent. Love it!

Yep.  Definitely got the Books vibe going on again.  smile  Great stuff.  Have you done this stuff live?  The Books are pretty amazing live.

Great track, definitely reminds me a bit of some of what The Books have done, but as other's have said: that is not a bad thing. Brilliant!

i'm a total sucker for the cello. Stunning work and mix with the vocals.

now that's some pretty sophisticated glitch tinkering and cello playing! well done, sir.

Thanks! I couldn't do it live -- my chops are nowhere near that good.

love the cello and vocal glitchery! nice job! smile

I like the dynamics in this and nice chopping! smile

ya the chopped samples and the cello have been combined really good!

Wonderful mix of cello and vocals.  Very cool!

i think i'll leave out the books-comparison ;-) but not the emphasizing of the greatness of this!

Thanks so much for that! And thanks in general.

Gorgeous, and continually surprising!  Great vocal processing (as I always seem to be saying), and the cello is just glorious.  Excellent stuff.

Thanks, gentlemen! Considering how long it's been since I played cello, I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it all came back.

Awesome track. The cello and glitch lay down some great groove.

This is a beauty! Excellent work, as usual.

Thanks. Unlike you, I couldn't do it without editing.
