Capacity

By Jim Wood on November 19, 2016 3:29 am

This may have been in the oven too long; I'm no longer able to hear it objectively. There was a vocal track, but I decided it was redundant and interfered with the cello.

Excellent use of the cello smile

Very nice, I like the last third as things start getting mangled, interested to hear what the vocal track was like

As a fellow cello player I always enjoy hearing it used in any capacity (pun semi-intended), but it's especially cool to hear the warped sounds you've made with it.

I like this without vocals.  I feel like it would have overly complicated the piece as there is a lot going on already.  you've reached............CAPACITY.

The Cello sound is nice... It's amzingly deep at the beginning of your track. I should also dig for some Cello sounds.
Right now I would have wished a little more steadyness... but I am at work right now and I feel that it is almost impossible to concentrate on anything else while this song is playing wink

Nice work!

Nice work!

Thank you all for your kind comments!

I like the mix between the classic acoustic cello and all the warping, stretching and pitching you are doing.
I had to listen a few times to get an overview of the effects and moves. Really inspiring. Maybe a good  sountrack for a tim burton film?

Jack Skellington - Jack Lament

Lovely piece of music! I like the come-down at the end. Nice work smile

Always a fan of the deeper tones a cello produces.  You definitely highlighted that with the cool edits.  Really cool tape-like mangles towards the end too smile

Cello manipulations work a treat!  I'm pretty sure interfering with a cello is not a crime.  tongue
Vocals definitely weren't needed.  Plenty of interest here!

Great work on the cello manipulations! Sounds complete without any vocals.

Since I'll never be a top-level cellist, I have no problem interfering.
