Floating Crow (Jetkick Remix)

EDIT: Cleaner, less-clippy download available on SoundCloud! https://soundcloud.com/jetkick/floating … kick-remix
Aww, late again. I need to invest in a computer that doesn't overheat during everyday tasks.

This is a remix I did of a beautiful piece by a musically talented friend of mine. He doesn't normally do electronic stuff, but what he does publish is phenomenal. I wanted to work with the chords and vocals for this song and see if I could do somethin' just as cool with 'em. But that's up to you to judge!

Comments and critiques welcome, as always.

Augh, yeah, when I rendered the track I'd messed with the master volume knob... Wish there was a way to replace tracks on this site (but that would break the purpose of completing one track per week, I suppose).

On the other hand, thank you for informing me of the existence of a harmonic exciter! (I'm still a noob at this whole music production business)

no problem, very welcome, sir! success for next week.

Excellent. BTW, I also had an overheating computer (iMac) and solved the problem with smcFanControl (it's free).
