Ah Hell

Ran out of time! Hence the title.

Heard a great track this week that really inspired me to make something in 12/8, Adam Neely's reharm of "Run Away With Me": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRsZhLpHtEA
This track is also loosely based on this one by Snareskin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFE_DoNA92o

Some things I wanted to do with this track:
- Have the second section be the first section and a proper build! With the time I had, I thought it'd be easier to put it at the end.
- Figure out alternate leads in the chorus that didn't sound out of place (tried horns, e-piano, other synths... oh well)
- Actually vary the chords and rhythms in the outro second half; currently it just repeats.

Hopefully next week is less rushed! This one feels sort of incomplete, maybe could serve as a YouTube channel outro or something short-form.
And as always, please let me know what you don't like about the mix! I have an awful ear for it but want to improve.

Very sawtoothy!

This is ticking all the boxes for me except the 'just the right length' one!

I'm definitely feeling those Adam Neely vibes. Also, the song doesn't sound like it abruptly cut off so even if you ran out of time this sounds like a completed piece of work that was enjoyable to listen to smile

Hell yeah! Love those chords and the changes. No complaints here!
