### Lore
His home was destroyed. He stood there, unable to react. Not even able to shed a tear for all who were inside when it happened. Pure numbness overtook him. After standing there for what felt like hours, staring vacantly at the ruins, he felt something inside him break. No longer willing to put up with the constant oppression, he picked up a long stick and headed towards the seat of power. His determination was magnetic: as he marched, others who had also been affected decided to join in and march by his side, arming themselves with whatever they could find along the way.
After two long days of travel, the group finally arrived. He looked back and saw his army had grown by the thousands! Tons of others, just like him, hungry with rage and thirsty for revenge. Sid was going to pay for what he did, no matter what kind of bug spray his parents applied on him.
### Production Details
This week I'm relying on some very basic core elements I've used in many other songs (song structure, sound palette, key signature, etc) because I couldn't afford to get fancy and experiment all that much. I didn't have much time for music making during the week and now I'm out traveling with family. I'm even posting this early on Saturday because I'll be driving most of Sunday. It's beach time, babyyyy! But anyways, that meant I had to save time and go super simple with this song, so I kept in A Minor and only used the M8's WAVSYNTH engine. I had started this piece sometime earlier in the week and then sat down and fleshed it out today over about an hour.
I'm really happy with the chromatic little pings that come in halfway and just do their own thing regardless of the key signature. I did not expect it to work well at all, but I feel like it ended up becoming one of the defining features of the song!
Sadky, no YouTube video for this one since eim on the road.
Hope y'all have a great week!!!
