Hi everyone, this is my first weekly beats submission ever! I made this track entirely on the M8. I made the main parts of the beat a few days ago and competed them today on a plane ride. Then I noticed I could turn it into a little boom-bap rap and have some fun with it, so I wrote some really crappy lyrics and recorded them on my cell phone and then onto the M8.

Yes, I know I can't rap. It just felt like it would be funny and I honestly ended up cracking myself up quite a bit with this one.

Anyways, I hope y'all will enjoy! I'll likely post the M8 bundle to this in the Dirtywave discord group within the next week.

HAHAHAHAHA... Thanks y'all, you are too kind... It's weird that I can feel both embarrassed and also proud at the same time of this song, hahahahaha...

And yes, I was writing down my lyrics on my phone and mumbling through them to see if they fit the metric of the song during my plane ride, hahahahaha... Thankfully I don't think I bothered any of my seat neighbors.

The intro got me thinking about Metroid Prime right away.

BTW I started rapping as a joke and then kept practicing and it got interesting... you should push this more, try a slower beat, take your time, feel it... go go go

It's you, jegasus―welcome to WeeklyBeats! It's great to see you here. The whistle motif is fantastic (and I'm going to spend a little time trying to figure out how to reproduce it). And it might sound weird, but the flow of the rap sometimes reminds me a little of MC Hawking

Thank you so much!! That's really kind of you to say I'll post the bundle to the discord soon, but it's just a slight variation of the theremin preset in mikey303's rave pack! Also I don't know who MC Hawking is, but I'm googlong this as soon as I send this message
