CALL 911!!!

Howdy folks! Welcome back to the place where we make weird repetitive music!

I feel like I'm kinda cheating this week. I spent most of my music-making time this week working on a couple of different songs, but I wasn't really happy enough with any of them to promote them to this week's WB submission. So on submission Sunday, I decided to go old-project diving in my SD card trying to find something salvageable. I got super lucky and found an old WIP that was mostly finished!!! I tightened a couple of loose ends here and there and just called it a day!

Not much to say about this one other than that it's a pretty simple tune that uses no samples - it's 100% internal synths. After listening to this song a couple of times, I noticed how similar it sounds to one of the first songs I made on the M8 called WAKE UP & RUN!

Oh, I forgot to mention: the title for the song comes from the sense of urgency that I'm trying to bring. I thought about it because it's also what I shouted out over and over again when I was 6 years old and broke my arm, hahahaha... Poor kid me, he didn't deserve it. I remember being super freaked out.

Anyways, this song was made entirely with the Dirtywave M8 Tracker.

Thanks so much for listening!!!!

Love the tempo, love the kick rolls, the whole thing is just a joy.

this one grabbed me by the neck and didn't let go  big_smile

This definitely captures the urgent feeling.  Takes off at breakneck speed and doesn't take the foot off the pedal until the end.  Quite a fun ride.

I saw the title and instantly expected a sample that hotel employee shouting 'NATHAN! CALL 911'
This is a lot of fun though. Very frantic intense energy to it.

Someone better get the fire department.

I love the hectic energy of this track with the insisting kick-like bass sound. The lines from 0:59 have a nice tone.

Thank you so much for the kind words! Those lines were created using the M8's FM Synth. Super fun tweaking around smile
